Yakhont anti-ship cruise missile (ASCM) is designed for fighting against the tactical groups of surface ships under strong fire and electronic jamming conditions. |
SPECIFIC FEATURES
Yakhont has the following specific performance features: -
it has long firing range;

full combat independence is provided (“fire-forget”);

it uses the variable (low, high-low) altitudes;

it has high supersonic speeds at all flight phases;

full alignment with a wide range of carriers (surface ships of all major classes, submarine and ground launchers) is provided; low observation capability for up-to-date RD (STEALTH technology);

the missile is capable to efficiently deviate from enemy AD weapon;
-
it is easy to store, handle and transport, high reliability of the missiles and ship system components is provided.
