PURPOSE AND MAIN TASKS

The mortar is designed for destruction of the fighters arranged uncovered and in shelters, fire power, control stations, light-armored and armored targets in the nearest tactical zone in the process of firing from covered fire positions and semi-direct firing both from organized and non-organized fire positions with different soil nature at any day and year time.

SPECIFIC FEATURES

The mortar specific features are:

• high consistency of FHE projectile and  finned mine firing;
• high performance of 120 mm FHE projectiles comparable with 152-155 mm FHE projectiles;
• automatic bore shifting;
• automatic breech opening and closing;
• high operating and tactical maneuverability;
• higher crew survivability at the fire position.
