Air-borne equipment and armament

The helicopter is equipped with powerful high-performance air-borne armament system, inclusive of:

  • a flexible gun unit with GSh-23L 23 mm gun and 450 cartridge ammunition;
  • up to 80 S-8 80 mm unguided aircraft missiles;
  • up to 8 Ataka or Sturm anti-tank guided missiles;
  • overhead pods with 23 mm gun armament and 250 cartridge ammunition;
 
Mi-35M helicopter is equipped with the up-to-date  avionics ensuring day-and-night helicopter and weapon usage.
 
The helicopter is equipped with aids for protection against infra-red homing head missiles, high-performance armor for the cockpit, critical systems and units, combat survivability enhancement aids.
